Eagles Nest Massage Therapy has both female and male therapists. All therapists have their own personal areas of training and expertise. We encourage you to try a number of therapists to find the one that you feel most relaxed with and provides you the style you enjoy. Some clients choose to make their appointments with the same therapist for all of their visits, while others choose to make appointments with a variety of therapists. We encourage you to do that which fits you personally. Please refer to the therapists menu below for more information on what styles each individual therapist offers.

Training: Over 600 hours at Lake Superior College, Reiki Level 1 Practitioner
What I enjoy most about bodywork: I love helping my clients relieve pain and muscle tightness through massage, but I also enjoy teaching them about their muscles and posture to help them release the source of their discomfort by which they can feel more in control of their body.
Biography: I was born in Washington state, but moved to Minnesota when I was very young. I spent most of my childhood on a cattle farm in Esko. I grew up loving animals (and still do!). There hasn't been a time in my life where I didn't have at least one fuzzy critter in my life. After I graduated high school, it took me a while to find my career path. I went to Michigan for a couple years for Engineering before I decided it just wasn't for me, and I also considered Occupational Therapy. Finally, I went to Lake Superior College for Massage Therapy, and it was a perfect fit. Now I am honored to be part of the Eagles Nest team, and am excited to learn and grow with the community.
My Massage Style: My touch is smooth and flowing, connecting the body as a whole. I can also be focused and intuitive while working on tight problem areas. My main focus is catering to my clients needs, and making sure my massage is perfect for them as an individual.
Therapy Provided: General Relaxation, Deep Tissue/Needs Specific, Pregnancy, Reiki
Training: 654 hours at Lake Superior College, Reiki Level 1
What I enjoy most about bodywork: I not only love seeing how relaxed my clients get after a massage, but massage has a healing and calming effect on me as well. I enjoy providing a safe space for healing to happen, and I love educating clients about the effects of massage, posture, and healthy habits.
Biography: I was born and raised in Superior, WI. Growing up, I wanted to be some sort of scientist, especially if I could work with the environment and animals. I originally went to college at UW-Superior for biology and chemistry and really enjoyed learning how the world works, even if there was a lot of math involved. After I left UW-Superior, a friend of mine became pregnant, and I found a passion for birth work and advocacy. Through this new interest, I also learned about many alternative therapies including massage and how beneficial and holistic they can be. I enrolled at Lake Superior College's Massage Therapy program soon after and have loved every minute of my massage career. I am incredibly grateful and humbled to be a part of the fantastic Eagle's Nest massage team. In addition to working at Eagle's Nest, I work as a pharmacy technician. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and pets, especially if we are outside. I am a big fan of knitting, crocheting, crafting, reading, acting, and learning new things.
My massage style: My massage style is very fluid and relaxing, and I take great care in listening and adapting to my clients' needs. I also see massage as a team effort between therapist and client.
Therapy provided: General relaxation, needs specific, deep tissue and pregnancy.
Training: 650 hours at Lake Superior College, Reiki level 2 practitioner
What I enjoy most about bodywork: I love to give clients a space to heal and relax with nurturing touch. I feel massage and healing are my gifts and purpose in this life so every day and every client fills my heart and energizes my soul.
Biography: I was raised in Duluth, and shortly after graduating high school I moved to the Twin Cities where I worked as a caregiver/CNA for many years. During this experience I learned the value of service and giving loving kindness. After this my life took me on a spiritual journey. I spent some years traveling and eventually made my way back to Duluth. Aside from massage, I practice yoga, meditation, ki gong, and martial arts. I also enjoy gardening, studying spirituality, wellness, herbs and nutrition. I love being out in nature weather it be hiking, canoeing, barefoot yoga, or camping.
My massage style: My focus is to give each client the care and attention they need. My style is fluid and connective. I really enjoy the energy aspect of massage. My intention is to provide emotional and spiritual healing as much as the physical.

Training: Over 600 hours at Lake Superior College, Yoga Teacher Training: 200 hours at Yoga Garden of Northeast Minneapolis
What I enjoy most about bodywork: I love helping clients reconnect with their bodies so they can reconnect with themselves. By gaining greater body awareness we know more of what we need in our mental and spiritual lives, so we can move forward and grow into our optimal selves.
Biography: I grew up on a hobby farm in a very small town just South of Duluth. Growing up I spent a great deal of time outside, learning about the natural world that surrounds us. I gravitated toward the sense of touch; I loved to massage my mom for hours on end, feel the different textures of growing plants and the ever varying sensations of Minnesota’s cold winters and hot summers. With the love and patience shown to me by my family, I was given the freedom and time to find my own path in life. I explored new places and gained new insights to take with me in my journey. In the spring of 2016 I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training in Minneapolis which became the catalyst for me to start the career I believe I was born to do, massage therapy. I moved back to the North-land and promptly started school at Lake Superior College. I will continue to learn, experiment and be humbled by the fascinating field of bodywork. I am honored to be apart of the Eagles Nest community and look forward to continual growth.
My massage style: I meet my clients where they are at today, it all depends on what my client’s needs are and what my intuition is telling me. It will be therapeutic and can be slow and soothing or more invigorating. Either way it will be focused on my client.

Training: 1000 hours at Boulder College of Massage Therapy
What I enjoy most about bodywork: The feeling of satisfaction that comes from giving another life more comfort, less pain, and hopefully a stronger connection with humanity through the stillness of their own inner being. I also enjoy the challenge of piecing together the story of each client as told by their body and the muscle memories. We are such fascinating creatures!
Biography: I grew up in and around the Twin Cities and graduated high school in Hudson, WI. I picked up everything and moved to Boulder, CO where I eventually met my life partner, gave birth to our beautiful son, and graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy. After a stint in Northern California we returned to Colorado where I developed a love of mountain biking. In early 2016 my family embarked on a national search for the best places to live, bike, work, learn and love. Duluth won! I am happy to be back in the Midwest although the humidity may take awhile to get used to. I am truly grateful to bring my work to Eagles Nest Massage and look forward to many adventures here in Duluth and the North Shore.

Biography: I grew up in Minneapolis, went to college at UMD and lived in Portland, OR for three years. I then decided to go to massage school. I really wanted to find one that not only specialized in structural recovery, but also understood the power of therapeutic intent, & relaxation. I decided on Centerpoint Bodywork and Shiatsu School in Minneapolis, learning Trigger Point Therapy and the traditional pressure point system of "Shiatsu Anma". This was one of the most valuable & trans-formative experiences of my life thus far. Since graduating I have worked in a variety of settings including athletic facilities, spas, my own private practice, and as the wellness program manager of a non-profit center for movement arts. I enjoy swimming, reading, and camping, as well as hanging out with my wonderful family.
