About Us
Eagles Nest Massage Therapy was founded in 1990 and has moved around the Duluth area, landing at its current location in 2010. A truly unique setting in a renovated 1920's home on Duluth's east hillside. Warm and relaxing with four treatment rooms, a roomy reception area, wood stove fireplace and muraled ceilings. The landscape behind the building has been developed into an urban garden that the Eagles Nest' staff have an opportunity to take part in and clients are encouraged to walk through before or after their appointment.
Owned and operated by Marcy and Bob Kernez. Marcy is the Director of Eagles Nest and has a background in occupational therapy, cancer survivorship support as well as practicing massage therapy for over 30 years. Bob works outside the business as a surgical nurse at a local hospital and supports the business with his vast array of handyman skills.
Eagles Nest has received the Duluth Star Tribune's Best of the Best award for Best Massage Spa in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Eagles Nest Outreach
Provides seated chair massage to groups that may not be able to afford or physically be able to come in and receive massage at our studio. We also provide some public service to raise money for various foundations. Each of our therapists volunteers during the year to take part in an event as a volunteer giving back to our community. Vets Sessions
Eagles Nest supports veterans, offering one free 60 minute massage session for any veteran who has served in a combat zone or other traumatic humanitarian events.
All veterans receive 10% off massage therapy sessions, as do police, firefighters and EMTs.
When you call to set up your appointment, please let us know you're looking to receive a Vet's session. As our therapists volunteer for these sessions, there may be a short waiting period. When you arrive for your appointment we will have a Vet's program sheet for you to fill out as well as the new client intake forms, if you've never been to our establishment before.
